FIITJEE Chennai Centre felicitated students who had scored top ranks
FIITJEE Chennai Centre felicitated students who had scored top ranks in the Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced) and other competitive exams at "UTKARSH 2018". Students who studied at several FIITJEE centers across the state as well as parents and faculty members came together at the centenary Auditorium in the University of Madras on 15th July 2018.Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali, Dewan to the Prince of Arcot, who was the chief guest , gave away the awards to the students. Mr.Ankur Jain, Director, FIITJEE was also present.

If any religion teaches you to hate another religion, you have to leave that religion and choose another religion". Children should understand we are living as one and will always be one. We are being divided in the name of religion . There is no Hindu, Muslim or Christian. Whatever are you, it is a personal choice. If you come out on road, first you are an Indian, a good human being," he added. Five schools for each zone were recoginised for having recorded the best overall performances. The schools are namely, Maharishi Vidya Mandir , Chennai, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, K.K.Nagar, Chettinad Vidyasharam, Maharishi International Residential School and Jawahar Higher Secondary School, Neyveli.
Free eye check-up camp held at K.K.Nagar
A free eye check-up camp was organized by Rotary Club of Chennai, K.K.Nagar at Anganvadi ICDS Center, Ayyavupuram, K.K.Nagar, Chennai on 7th July 2018. Doctors examined the patients during eye tests and gave necessary tips for eye care. Those who were found suffering from eye ailment were informed about the treatment. Spectacles were also provided. Rotary Club also took measures for arranging cataract surgeries for deserving people. The camp was a success and helped to prevent blindness and improve quality of life.
